2 large beet peeled and grated 6 tbsp sugar 2 tsp ghee 6-7 chashew nuts 1/2 tsp cardamom powder
1.Take ghee in a kadhai, fry cashew nuts till golden brown. 2.add grated beet and saute till its cooked. it shud take around 15-20 mins on medium flame. 3.add sugar and mix well.cook for another 10-12 mins or till it becomes sticky. 4.Add cardamom powder. Let it cool. This type of halwa can be stored at room temperature for a week.
